TALLAHASSEE — It’s time to “Stuff the Charger” again and help Floridians in need this holiday season! The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is once again teaming up with local organizations dedicated to providing essential food and educating communities in the fight against hunger. Beginning now through November 30, FHP will collect non‑perishable food items to support families across the state. Donations can be dropped off at any troop headquarters, including FHP’s General Headquarters in Tallahassee.
This annual effort reflects FHP’s commitment to service, one of the core pillars of its mission. By supporting families in need, FHP extends its service beyond the roadway and into the communities it proudly protects.
“Service is at the heart of everything we do,” said Executive Director Dave Kerner. “The ‘Stuff the Charger’ food drive is another way we can stand with our communities and support families who need a little extra help this season, especially following Hurricane Isaias. We encourage Floridians to join us in making a meaningful impact.”
“Instilled in every Trooper is the call to serve. The Florida Highway Patrol is proud to once again partner with local organizations to serve the residents of Florida in a different way this holiday season by helping collect food donations for families in need,” said FHP Colonel Gary Howze. “Help make a difference in your community and help us ‘Stuff the Charger.’
