OKEECHOBEE — Healthy Start’s 10th Annual Cover That Pumpkin Diaper Drive is back this October, and we need our community’s help to reach our goal of 20,000 diapers for local families.
Diapers are an everyday necessity, but for many families, the cost can quickly become overwhelming. Diapers also are not covered by programs like WIC or SNAP, which can leave parents with very limited options when they are struggling to make ends meet.
There are several ways to help. You can donate diapers and wipes, purchase needed items directly from our Walmart Registry, or make a financial contribution to support the drive. Every box, pack, and donation brings us one step closer to helping Okeechobee babies stay clean, dry, and comfortable.
