OKEECHOBEE – Okeechobee County Commissioners reviewed pre-application plans for the Wolff Farms Subdivision at their Aug. 20 meeting.
The project is on 74.87 acres between SW 28th Street and SW 32nd Street, about 0.4 miles west of U.S. Highway 441.
The developer proposes a subdivision with 198 single family homes. The subdivision will have an east side and a west side, preserving the natural wetland in the center of the property. Each side will have road connections on SW 28th Street and SW 32nd Street. Sidewalks will be coordinated with the school district.
Commission Chair David Hazellief said he would like to see the drainage plan.
The plan will come back before the county commission for final review and approval.
