The theft occurred on Southwest Ninth Street, and the owner's roommate quickly took to Facebook, posting a photo of the 2016 custom Ford F350 with a fuel tank in the bed. She urged her friends to share her post and to be on the lookout for the vehicle.
Happily, for the owner, the vehicle was found just a few hours later near Jacksonville. The driver was pulled over and arrested after multiple calls regarding reckless driving on the highway.
When Florida Highway Patrol scanned the truck, they found it had been reported stolen out of Okeechobee County.
“We were lucky, and God is good,” said the owner of the truck.
