OKEECHOBEE — The Quarters For A Cause benefit for Ashton Rogers will be held on Tuesday, March 24. The doors open at 6 p.m. followed by an auction at 7 p.m. The auction will be held at the Okeechobee Civic Center, 1750 U.S. 98 N. Wear pink to be entered into the special raffle.
Ashton was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in January 2024. She has been through several major surgeries, and had nephrostomy tubes and colostomy bag. She became septic more than once while receiving chemo treatments, radiation, ruptured perforated rectum, ovarian cysts resulting in a hysterectomy and more.
She will be undergoing more treatment in hopes of never having cancer again.
