PBSC to host a Super Saturday Aug. 15 to help students prepare for fall

Posted

LAKE WORTH — Palm Beach State College will host a Super Saturday in person at all campuses Aug. 15, giving students expanded access to enrollment and student support services before the start of the fall term on Friday, Aug. 21. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

One stop in person services available are: Admissions/Registration, Academic Advising, Bookstore, Cashier's Office, Center for Student Accessibility, Financial Aid, New Student Orientation, Parking Decal, Panther Card/School ID, Testing*, Veteran's Resource Center. * Testing time availability may be limited. Students are encouraged to contact the Testing Center directly for availability.

“Many students are excited to begin the fall term but still need guidance to complete their enrollment,” said Peter Barbatis, EdD, vice president of student services and enrollment management. “Through Super Saturday, we're making it easier for students to get the personalized support they need, remove barriers, and start the fall feeling prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.”

The College will also offer the same services virtually from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Students with questions are encouraged to call 561-868-3000 or toll-free at 866-576-7222. There will also be information sessions held on various programs and services throughout the month of August. Students can also see the full calendar of events here.
