OKEECHOBEE — As the 2025-26 school year comes to a close, Okeechobee County Schools is celebrating the accomplishments of its students, staff, and community while previewing a new district brand that will roll out in the months ahead.
This school year marked meaningful progress across the district, including continued work to support student success, strengthen school communities, and build partnerships with families and local stakeholders.
As Okeechobee County Schools reflects on these successes, district leaders are also preparing for the future with a refreshed brand that more clearly communicates the district’s purpose, priorities, and commitment to students.
The new brand follows a months-long process that included collaboration with students, families, staff, community members, and district leadership. The result is a shared mission and vision focused on helping every student achieve personal success.
“This work is about clearly communicating who we are and what we stand for as a district,” said Superintendent Dylan Tedders. “As we close out a successful school year, this brand allows us to look ahead with clarity and purpose.”
The refreshed brand also introduces a unified visual identity and tagline: “Be known. Be challenged. Be empowered.” The logo features three figures representing elementary, middle, and high school learners, symbolizing progression and continuity across the district. Framed within an open book, the design reinforces education as the foundation for opportunity, while surrounding elements reflect the community that supports student success. A subtle reflection forms the letter “O,” tying the design to Okeechobee’s identity.
Together, these brand elements reflect the district’s commitment to personalized learning, meaningful relationships, and high expectations for every student.
While the brand is being introduced now, the rollout will be phased over the next several months. Community members will begin seeing the new brand across digital platforms and the district website during the summer, with a full launch planned for the start of the 2026-27 school year.
