The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).
• Jatravaian Kelly, 36, homeless, was arrested Sept. 5 by OCSO Deputy Misei Esquivel and charged with DUI and fleeing without regard to safety of others. Bond was set at $26,000.
• Jorge Hernandez Valdes, 23, Clewiston, was arrested Sept. 5 by OCSO Deputy R. Hernandez and charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant woman. Bond was set at $5,000.
• Mark Taylor, 37, Southeast 22nd Street, was arrested Sept. 4 by OCSO Deputy Dalton Pitts and charged with domestic battery by strangulation. Bond was set at $10,000.
• Tamera Rami, 28, Port St. Lucie, was arrested Sept. 7 by OCSO Deputy N. Conroy and charged with burglary with assault or battery. Bond was set at $75,000.
• Jumana Gordon, 49, Lake Placid, was arrested Sept. 9 by OCSO Deputy C. Donnelly and charged with possession of cocaine and drug use and tampering with evidence. Bond was set at $15,750.
• Haley Garcia, 23, Northwest Third Street, was arrested Sept. 10 by OCSO Deputy Gabe Greseth and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.
• Alexis Brown, 20, Northwest Ninth Street, was arrested Sept. 13 by OCPD Officer Ted Van Deman and charged with battery on a law enforcement officer. Bond was set at $3,000.
• Trimaine Lewis was arrested Sept. 11 and charged with trespass after warning, petit theft and burglary of an occupied dwelling.
• Samantha Shell, 37, Orlando, was arrested Sept. 3 by OCSO Deputy Misei Esquivel and charged with DUI with property damage. Bond was set at $1,500.
