The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Rebecca Martinez, 32, Southwest Ninth Street, was arrested June 8 by OCSO Deputy R. Mattson and charged with habitually driving without a license. Bond was set at $2,500.
• Brenda Schaeffer, 54, Northwest 80^th Drive, was arrested June 11 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine, tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,500.
• Guillermo Mireles-Alvarado, 42, Northwest Fourth Street, was arrested June 13 by OCSO Deputy Todd Addington and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana more than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $3,250.
• Alice Moctezuma-Vazquez, 70, Northeast 55^th Trail, was arrested June 12 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine, tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,500.
• Andrew Wheeler, 30, Sebring, was arrested June 18 by OCSO Deputy Tyler Cox and charged with fleeing law enforcement with lights and siren active and knowingly driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $12,500.
• Brenda Hendrix Smedley, 28, Georgia, was arrested June 17 by OCSO Deputy C. Chagnon and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl and child neglect. Bond was set at $8,000.
• Melinda Beckman, 52. Lorida, was arrested June 17 by OCSO Deputy C. Chagnon and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of fentanyl and possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $5,500.
• Andrew Wheeler, 30, Sebring, was arrested June 17 by OCSO Deputy K. Lowe and charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession of Alprazolam and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. Bond was set at $161,000.
• Davian Salazar, 19, Northwest 25^th Avenue, was arrested June 18 by ONTF and charged with possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana. Bond was set at $2,500.
• Jimmy Neal, 78, Southeast 36^th Avenue, was arrested June 16 by OCSO Deputy L. Merlino and charged with DUI and refusal to submit to DUI testing. Bond was set at $20,000.
