Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

  • Danielle East, 37, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Nov. 25 by OCSO Deputy L. Merlino and charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $25,000.
  • Vincent Pirozzi, 34, Southeast Seventh Street, was arrested Nov. 25 by OCSO Deputy Gabe Greseth and charged with habitual driving without a license. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Lemmie Prescott, 41, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Nov. 26 by OCSO Deputy L. Merlino and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $100,000.
  • Clayton Jones, 43, Northwest 12th Terrace, was arrested Nov. 26 by OCSO Deputy L. Merlino and charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon and driving without a license. Bond was set at $16,000.
  • Christopher Gonzales, 32, Northwest 39th Avenue, was arrested Nov. 30 by OCSO Deputy M. Grumbling and charged with two counts possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon and grand theft firearm. Bond was set at $15,000.
  • Theresa Carter, 36, at large, was arrested Nov. 27 by OCSO Deputy A. Ziegler and charged with battery/inmate on inmate. Bond was set at $5,000.
  • Michael Watson, 33, Northwest 21st Lane, was arrested Dec. 1 by OCSO Deputy Dalton Pitts and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Juan Martinez, 27, Southeast 66th Avenue, was arrested Nov. 23 by OCPD Officer Ted VanDeman and charged with possession with intent to sell cocaine and driving without a license. Bond was set at $36,000.
  • Roderick Ricks, 47, Orlando, was arrested Dec. 2 by OCSO Deputy Anthony Hull and charged with driving without a license/third or subsequent offense. Bond was set at $1,500.
  • Richard Sheltra, 42, Southeast 18th Terrace, was arrested Dec. 2 by OCSO Deputy L. Merlino and charged with driving without a license/habitual offender. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Terry Farmer, 39, Fort Pierce, was arrested Dec. 2 by OCSO deputy Jennifer Fairtrace and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $15,0000.
  • Phillip Giura, 61, Cape Coral, was arrested Nov. 27 by OCSO Deputy Misei Esquivel and charged with DUI and refusal to submit to DUI testing. Bond was set at $1,500.
  • Ryan Thomas, 21, Northwest 11th Street, was arrested Dec. 2 by OCPD Officer S. Flores and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $50,000.
  • Christopher Adams, 34, Northeast 31st Way, was arrested Dec. 3 by OCSO Deputy Victor Cabrera and charged with falsely reporting a bomb, sending written threats to kill and corruption by threat.
