The Okeechobee High School Competitive Cheer Team showcased their talent and dedication this past weekend during a Home Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Camp held at the school.
Throughout the camp, athletes focused on improving their technique, stunting, performance skills, leadership, and team spirit—key areas evaluated by UCA instructors. At the conclusion of the camp, four athletes were recognized with one of the highest individual honors in cheerleading, earning the title of UCA All American Cheerleader.
This year’s All American recipients are Kiera Osteen, Natalie Zarella, Mychala Mills, and Kahlila Clapp. These outstanding athletes are now eligible to perform in parades and events across the country—including Orlando, Hawaii, and Philadelphia—and internationally in London and Italy.
In addition to the individual recognitions, the entire Okeechobee High Competitive Cheer Team received a Superior Rating, the highest possible team evaluation, and an invitation to perform at halftime of the Citrus Bowl on December 31 in Orlando.
The team’s success reflects their commitment, teamwork, and school pride—qualities that continue to make Okeechobee High School proud.
