OKEECHOBEE — Members of the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force, with assistance from additional members of the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and CAT Teams, served probable cause narcotics search warrants at two residences located at Northeast 29th Terrace in Okeechobee following an ongoing narcotics investigation.
The investigation focused on Toni Ruffino Deibler, Camryn Rae Cashwell, Bailey Mason Schloerb, and Hubert Ray Cashwell. The sheriff’s office had received numerous complaints alleging that Fentanyl and other illegal narcotics were being distributed from the residences.
During the course of the investigation, detectives conducted multiple controlled purchases from the residences. Detectives noted that a 9-month-old child was present inside the home during several of those transactions.
Searches of the residences resulted in the seizure of fentanyl along with drug paraphernalia indicative of the sale and use of illegal narcotics.
As a result of the investigation and search warrants:
• Toni Ruffino Deibler, 65, was charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deibler is a convicted felon with a previous narcotics sales related case.
• Camryn Rae Cashwell, 27, was charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect. Cashwell has no prior felony convictions; however, she does have several misdemeanor arrests and convictions involving possession and theft related charges.
• Bailey Mason Schloerb, 28, was charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect. Schloerb has four prior felony convictions, including two for sale/delivery of a controlled substance, one for possession of a controlled substance, and one for possession of a hallucinogen.
• Hubert Ray Cashwell, 63, was arrested for violation of probation, possession of fentanyl, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cashwell has an extensive criminal history consisting of 126 felony convictions ranging from possession of controlled substances, possession of cocaine, and numerous burglary related offenses, including burglary while becoming armed. Cashwell previously served a lengthy prison sentence within the Florida Department of Corrections.
• Michael Ray Roberts, 65, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Roberts has six prior felony convictions, five involving controlled substance related offenses and one for possession of a controlled substance.
The 9-month-old child located inside the residence was found to be in good health; however, the child was removed from the home by the Department of Children and Families due to the living conditions and presence of illegal narcotics within the residence.
