MOORE HAVEN- Moore Haven senior Sa’nyree Myers has been selected to the 2026 Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) All-Star South basketball team.

Being selected for the All-Star game is based on voting from high school athletic coaches in FACA. There are only 20 girls across all state divisions that make up the North and South All-Star teams for FACA.

Myers averaged 28.8 points per game for the Lady Terriers, which makes her the leading scorer in Moore Haven’s division, and number four in the entire state. She is also ranked first in Moore Haven’s division in field goals made, while also averaging 4.4 steals per game.

Not only is Myers a star on the court, but she excels off the court as well. With a 4.0 GPA, she is set to graduate with an AA from Florida Southwestern State College. She was also recently nominated for the McDonald's All-American Games.

Myers attributes much of her success to her teammates first and foremost and the coaches at Moore Haven Middle-High School, head coach Jeff Gonzales and assistant coach Rashonda Croskey.

The Lady Terriers finished the regular season this year with the best record in school history, a perfect 23-0. And they earned their first ever district championship, with a 46-37 win over the Fort Meade Lady Miners in the district final on Feb. 6.

Myers led Moore Haven in the championship win with 23 points and five assists. Junior Chanel Hunter led the team with eight rebounds, while junior Charisma Micco and sophomore Cherrish Micco each had six. Charisma also had six steal for the Lady Terriers on defense.
