OKEECHOBEE — Healthy Start is excited to invite our maternal task force partners, local stakeholders, community members and everyone in between to the MOM Mobile Soft Launch on Friday, May 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Okeechobee Healthy Start located at 114 SW 5th Ave.

Join Okeechobee Healthy Start Coalition as we celebrate the beginning of mobile prenatal health services in our community. In partnership with Treasure Coast Maternity Center, the MOM Mobile: Maternity on the Move will bring quality prenatal care services directly to Okeechobee, helping address the needs of families in a maternity care desert. Be part of the experience as Healthy Start helps bring the first mobile maternity care unit of its kind to our community.

This soft launch is a wonderful opportunity to tour the MOM Mobile unit, meet the midwife, learn about the FREE available prenatal services and discover Healthy Start’s many programs and services available for our moms, dads, babies, and families.

Whether you’re a community partner, service provider, expecting parent, family member or someone who simply cares about improving access to maternal health services, Healthy Start would love to have you join them for this exciting milestone.
