Indian River State College hosts open house for students interested in healthcare

Indian River State College’s School of Nursing and School of Health Science will host an open house Monday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Pruitt Campus in Port St. Lucie.

Students are invited to explore nearly 20 healthcare careers and learn about what the college has to offer.

Here’s what to expect:

• Talk to professors, advisors and current students.
• Learn about academic programs, clinical experiences and career paths.
• Tour the college’s state-of-the-art Nursing Simulation Center.
• Ask questions about admissions, financial aid and tutoring.

The event is open to current students, career changers and high school students.
