LABELLE — At the regular meeting of the Hendry County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, July 29, the board voted and approved the maximum millage rate of 6.77 for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, making it exactly the same as last year’s millage rate.
One mill equals $1 in taxes for every $1,000 of taxable property value.
Back in April the budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year was predicted at approximately $133.7 million, meaning there will be no significant increase expected from last year’s budget of $133,725,581.
