LABELLE –– On Thursday, July 30, 2026, Hendry County Sheriff S. Whidden swore in Marvin Similien who will be assigned to the Hendry County Jail Division. Similien comes to HCSO with 4 years of experience. “We’re glad to have you back Marvin”, said Sheriff Whidden. Correctional Officer Similien was previously employed with Hendry County Jail from 2022 to 2025, leaving for a brief period of time, returning on July 27, 2026.
