BELLE GLADE — Global Combat Amateurs (GCA) officially launched its first event at Las Palmas in Belle Glade on Nov. 7 2025, delivering a night of high-energy fights and community excitement that marked the beginning of a new chapter in combat sports development.
The debut card showcased the best of local and regional talent, embodying GCA’s mission to create a fighter-first platform bridging the path from amateur to professional competition across boxing, MMA, and other disciplines.
Highlights from the night:
• Fight of the Night: Eduardo Martinez vs. Tylan Lawler – two super-heavyweights who delivered nonstop action from bell to bell.
• Performance of the Night: Rudoleg “Cambo the Beast” Cameron displayed masterful ring generalship and composure.
• Chango Romero impressed with pure boxing skill, precision, and control.
• Diontae Altman showed sharp technical ability with an outstanding jab and counter-punching.
• Knockout of the Night: Travis McCrary, who came to throw down, pressed the action, and earned a statement finish.
Fighters, fans, and partners alike praised the event’s professionalism, medical oversight, and verified record-keeping in partnership with BoxRec, reinforcing GCA’s commitment to athlete safety and credibility.
Nelson Lopez Jr., CEO of Global Combat Collective, said: “Our first event was a success and hit every goal. We built a real platform, created strong content, and opened the door to the next level. From amateur to pro, fighters are closer to the big stage than they know. Last night proved the path is real — and GCA is the one paving the way. Thank you to my team, our supporters, and every fighter who stepped up.”
The energy in Belle Glade was electric as fighters and fans embraced the start of what promises to become the foundation for the next generation of combat-sports champions. With the first event complete, GCA looks ahead to expanding its series across Florida and beyond, continuing to provide opportunities for fighters to grow, compete, and be recognized.
