FORT MYERS — Florida SouthWestern State (FSW) College’s School of Business and Technology is partnering with United Way to offer free tax preparation services for qualifying households this March.

IRS-certified United Way volunteers will prepare taxes at no cost for households earning $70,000 or less per year through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Services will be available by appointment at FSW Hendry/Glades Curtis Center, 1092 E Cowboy Way in LaBelle on Tuesday, March 10, noon to 4 p.m. Building A, Room 110

Appointments are required. Individuals may register by calling 239-433-3900.

The VITA program is a United Way collaborative designed to provide trusted, IRS-certified tax preparation services to help eligible families maximize refunds and avoid preparation fees.
