County proclaims Emergency Medical Services Week

OKEECHOBEE -- At their May 14 meeting, Okeechobee County Commissioners issued a Proclamation designating May 17-23, 2026  as Emergency Medical Services Week in Okeechobee County, Florida.  National EMS Week celebrates 52 years of honoring EMS professionals with the theme ."Improving Outcomes, Together," which emphasizes collaboration between EMS personnel, 911 dispatchers, healthcare providers, and the community to improve patient care.
