OKEECHOBEE – A Thanksgiving Community Food Drive is underway to help local residents who are struggling to feed their families.
Drop off donations at Our Village, 206 N. Parrott Ave.
The pantry needs: Canned goods, boxed goods and proteins. No expired foods or open packages will be accepted.
Cash donations are also welcome.
“Even without the shutdown of SNAP benefits, the need is great,” explained Leah Suarez of Our Village. “Anything you can do to help is most appreciated.”
