OKEECHOBEE — The Children’s Services Council of Okeechobee County announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the 2026 – 2027 funding cycle. The Council is an independent special taxing district established to plan, fund, and coordinate services for children in Okeechobee County.
Approximately $750,000 is available to governmental and legally incorporated not-for-profit organizations to provide new or expanded services addressing priority needs of children in Okeechobee County.
A Mandatory Pre-RFP Meeting is required for all applicants on Thursday, March 12 at 4 p.m. at the Okeechobee County School Board, Room 303
The RFP will be distributed via email following the meeting.
Sealed proposals are due Thursday, April 23, 2026, no later than 3 p.m. Applicants must submit one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic copy to toni.wiersma@okeeschools.org.
Awards are contingent upon Council approval.
