Central Elementary School students take learning math to a whole new level

OKEECHOBEE — Ms. Wheeler’s 3rd graders took PLACE VALUE to a whole new level on Sept. 8.  They turned their math mats into a snack station  From the thousands place all the way to the ones, they had to think, count, build, and explain what each snack represented. And let me tell you… they were EATING this lesson up!
