The Healthy Start Coalition of Okeechobee is seeking backup volunteers for the upcoming Okeechobee Music Festival (OMF), taking place Thursday, March 19, through Sunday, March 22.

This year, Healthy Start made the decision to cancel Purse Bingo and instead operate two beverage tents at OMF as one of our largest annual fundraisers. To ensure everything runs smoothly, we are building a strong list of reliable backup volunteers who may be called on as needed throughout the festival.

Volunteers will assist with beverage sales using iPads and with drink preparation. All tips and a portion of beverage sales directly support Healthy Start programs and the families we serve in Okeechobee County.

Volunteer benefits Include:

• Free festival entry for the day you volunteer,
• Free parking,
• A fun way to experience OMF while supporting a local nonprofit.

If you are interested in being a backup volunteer, please complete our Volunteer Interest Survey (one per person) at facebook.com/OkeechobeeHealthyStart/. Feel free to share the link with friends and family who may also be interested.

Once signed up, volunteers will be contacted via email as shifts become available, so please be sure to check your inbox.

Thank you for helping us make this fundraiser a success and for supporting families in our community.
