OKEECHOBEE — Leah Suarez, Joe Snowberger, and the dedicated staff of Our Village Okeechobee and Mission United Okeechobee - St. Lucie have organized a BBQ Lunch Fundraiser to support the family of Darren Brown.
The BBQ Lunch Fundraiser will be held on Friday, Aug. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Veterans Park, 101 NW Park St. (corner of U.S. 441 and S.R. 78). BBQ plates with dessert are $10 each.
Darren literally kept Okeechobee moving, and we are proud to come together as a community to support his family during this difficult time.
All proceeds will benefit Darren’s family. The BBQ will be cooked up by the pitmasters from the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office
