LABELLE — Upthegrove Elementary’s fourth grade started the school year with a Wildly Important Goal: students with five or fewer absences throughout the entire school year would earn a special Water Day celebration provided by the 4th grade teachers! These students worked incredibly hard all year long to achieve this goal, and on May 27 they celebrated their dedication and commitment in a BIG way! Students enjoyed two giant water slides, a splash pad, snow cones, McDonald’s Happy Meals, snacks, drinks, and even fresh watermelon. Congratulations.
