BELLE GLADE — A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single car crash at approximately 5:19 p.m. on April 9 at 8757 South U.S. 27 in Belle Glade.
A 2002 Chevrolet SUV operated by Jenni Madercic, 35, of Lehigh Acres, was traveling northbound on U.S. 27 within the inside lane.
For unknown reasons, the driver steered to the left and lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle began to rotate and traveled into the median. Subsequently, the vehicle began to overturn as it traveled over the median and across the southbound lanes. While the vehicle was overturning, the driver was ejected from the vehicle. Both the driver and vehicle came to rest on the western shoulder.
PBSO reported Ms. Madercic was pronounced deceased at the crash scene.
