The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), or the Department of Corrections (DOC) in Belle Glade, Pahokee, South Bay or Canal Point.
• Gerald Simmons, 41, Covenant Drive, Belle Glade, was arrested April 19 by PBSO and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell - manufacture or deliver, drug possession - control substance without prescription, resisting officer - obstruct without violence, and destroying evidence altering evidence. Bond was set at $4,000.
• Veronica Vasquez, 33, Bethune Street, Belle Glade, was arrested April 20 by PBSO and charged with driving while license suspended habitual offender. Bond was set at $1,000.
• Joseph Emmanuel, 35, N.W. Ave. G., Belle Glade, was arrested April 23 by PBSO and charged with drug possession of controlled substance without prescription, and trespassing of structure or conveyance. Bond was set at $10,000.
• Nathaniel Burroughs, 55, at large, Belle Glade, was arrested April 25 by PBSO and charged with larceny - petit theft second degree two or more theft convictions. Bond was set at $10,000.
• Cedric Robinson, 41, N.W. 7th Ave., South Bay, was arrested April 21 by PBSO and charged with failure to appear.
• Xandrea Foster, 29, S.W. 11th Ave., South Bay, was arrested April 24 by PBSO and charged with aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony. Bond was set at $5,000.
• Leona Mathis, 39, Adams Place, Pahokee, was arrested April 19 and charged with possession of cocaine and driving with expired license for more than six months. Bond was set at $1,000.
• Ervin Neal, 38, Pelican Lake Drive, Pahokee, was arrested April 23 by PBSO and charged with possession of cocaine, drug possession of controlled substance without prescription and destroying evidence. Bond was set at $3,000
