PBSO Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), or the Department of Corrections (DOC) in Belle Glade, Pahokee, South Bay or Canal Point.

• Charles Williams, 57, S.W. Sixth St., Belle Glade, was arrested by PBSO March 22 and charged with burglary of a dwelling, structure or conveyance, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, two counts of petit theft, five counts of burglary - unoccupied conveyance unarmed, damage to property, and grand theft. Bond was set at $13,000.

• Terry Willis, 66, S.W. Sixth St., Belle Glade, was arrested by PBSO March 24 and charged with driving while license suspended habitual offender, DUI unlawful blood alcohol or drugs level - third violation in 10 years and refusing to submit DUI test after license suspended. Bond has not been set.

• Eric Ablat, 34, S.W. Ave. J, Belle Glade, was arrested by PBSO March 25 and charged with battery by touch or strike, obstructing justice, drug equipment possession, possession of weapon or ammo by convicted felon, cocaine possession with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver, marijuana possession with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver, hallucinogen possession with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver, public order crimes - keep public nuisance structure for drug activity. Bond was set at $12,000.

• Herbie Smith, 46, S. Main St., Belle Glade, was arrested by PBSO and charged with possession of weapon or ammo by convicted felon. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Chikevious King, 28, at large, Belle Glade, was arrested by PBSO March 27 and charged with drug trafficking in fentanyl 4 grams or more, drug equipment possession - manufacture deliver, flee/elude police - aggravated fleeing with injury or damage, cocaine possession with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver, driving while license suspended habitual offender, hit and run with property damage, resisting office - ostruct without violence, contempt of court - violate injunction protection domestic violence, and drug - traffic - own rent structure vehicle know traffic drugs. Bond was set at $174,000.

• Jeffry Vernet, 24, Roosevelt Place, Belle Glade, was arrested by PBSO March 28 and charged with aggravated assault with deadly weapon without intent to kill, and two counts of battery by touch or strike. Bond has not been set.

• Alexis Barnes, 35, McClure Road, Pahokee, was arrested by PBSO March 26 and charged with driving while license suspended habitual offender. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Jimtravis Gray, 23, Royal Palm Court, Pahokee, was arrested by PBSO March 27 and charged with reckless driving, driving while license suspended, resisting officer without violence, and property damage. Bond was set at $2,000.

• Ewart Boswell, 22, Palm Blvd., Pahokee, was arrested by PBSO March 27 and charged with carrying concealed weapon - unlicensed firearm. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Jonathan Hankerson, 35, Palm Beach Road, South Bay, was arrested by PBSO March 23 and charged with aggravated battery - causing bodily harm or disability. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Arteria Ruffin, 23, S.W. 11th Ave., South Bay, was arrested by PBSO March 26 and charged with property damage. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Richard Ferguson, 57, U.S. 27, South Bay, was arrested by PBSO March 28 and charged with battery by touch or strike, kidnap - false imprisonment of an adult, resisting officer, crimes against person - harm public servant or family. Bond was set at $6,000.
