Palm Beach County offers walk-in vaccination clinic for school employees

Posted

The Palm Beach County School System and Superintendent Donald E. Fennoy continue  to collaborate with the State of Florida to prioritize District employees for the COVID-19 vaccine.

There will be four dedicated walk-up vaccination sites this
weekend for all school employees who meet the following criteria as set by the State:
● School employees who are 50 years of age or older and,
● School employees of all ages who have documentation from a physician indicating that they are deemed medically vulnerable.

The district will work with the State to administer the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine this Saturday, March 13, and Sunday, March 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or until the available number of vaccines runs out.

Anyone who has already received a dose of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine should not visit these sites to receive a vaccination.

The vaccination sites are listed below:
● Jeaga Middle School – 3777 N. Jog Rd., West Palm Beach,
● John I. Leonard High School – 4701 10th Ave. N., Greenacres,

● Atlantic Community High School – 2455 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach,
● Lake Shore Middle School - 425 W. Canal St., N., Belle Glade
Please do not arrive at a vaccination site earlier than 8:30 a.m.

There is no pre-registration, and the vaccines will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Wait times may be lengthy; your patience is appreciated.
