BELLE GLADE – Palm Beach County libraries offer online digital programs and activities Sept. 25 through Oct. 29.

Children

• Friday, Sept. 25, 3 to 3:40 p.m., Hispanic Heritage Month Craft: Ojo De Dios — Pick up a craft kit with the supplies needed at any of the Glades Area Libraries to make your own God’s Eye as you follow along with the virtual program. Ages 8-11. Preregister online for this event.

• Tuesday, Sept. 29, 6 to 7 p.m., Game Night: Bingo Mania — Create your card, play a few rounds, and win a prize or two. Ages 8-11. Preregister online for this event.

• Tuesday, Oct. 6, 6 to 6:45 p.m., Heure Du Conte: Bilingual Story Hour — Bonjour! Stories, songs, and rhymes in both English and French. Fully interactive. Ages 4-8.Preregister online for this event.

• Saturday, Oct. 17, 3 to 3:45 p.m., Tell Me A Story! — Storytelling card games to inspire creative thinking and encourage young children to make up their own once upon a time stories. Ages 3--6. Preregister online for this event.

• Saturday, Oct. 24, 3 to 3:45 p.m., Spooky Crafts — Stop by at any of the Glades area libraries to pick up a craft kit with the supplies needed to follow along with the virtual activity. Ages 4 -11. Preregister Online for This Event

• Tuesday, Oct. 27, 6 to 7 p.m., Game Night: U.S.. Presidents Trivia — The presidential election is just days away; learn some interesting facts about the forty-five men who served in the office, and win a prize or two. Ages eight to 11. Preregister online for this event.

• Thursday, Oct. 29, 2 to 2:30p.m., Creolophony Month Celebration — Listen to a bilingual story to explore some words and phrases in Haitian Creole. Ages 8 & up. Preregister online for this event.

Teens

• Wednesday, Sept. 23, 6 to 7 p.m., Let’s Play “Loved”: Indie art game play-along and discussion — “Loved” is an Indie art game that’s as deceptively simple as it is dark and provocative. Join the library as we play through the game together, then talk about what exactly just happened. Ages 15 and up. Preregister online for this event at: booksite-app.appspot.com

• Saturday, Sept. 26, 3 to 4 p.m., Book Discussion: “Click,” “Camp,” and “Act” by Kayla Miller — Whether you’ve read one or read them all, you’re invited to take part in a casual, low-key book discussion about Kayla Miller’s bestselling “Click” graphic novel series. Possible topics of discussion: the tension between fitting in vs. standing out at school, the awkwardness of making and maintaining friendships, and student activism in response to classist and sexist school policy.
