PAHOKEE -- A Pahokee man has been charged with first degree murder in connection with an April 25 shooting.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) report, on April 25, around 8:30 p.m., deputies responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Daniels Place, Pahokee. Upon arrival deputies located an adult male deceased from gunshot wound(s).
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division responded to investigate this shooting as a homicide. After further investigation, a suspect, Lanorris Lee, was identified, located, interviewed and arrested. Lee is currently residing in the Palm Beach County Jail. He has been charged with homicide - premeditated first degree muder.
No bond was set.
The victim's name has not been released because the family requested the name be withheld under Marsy's Law.
