NAPLES — A Florida Highway Patrol press release stated at approximately 9:51 p.m. on Sept. 18 a 61-year-old Naples man operating a sedan was traveling north in the left lane of Santa Barbara Blvd. approaching Santa Clara Drive.
A pedestrian, 32-year-old Immokalee man, was running south in the northbound lanes of Santa Barbara Blvd. and darted into the left lane of Santa Barbara Blvd. The front of the sedan collided with the pedestrian.
The pedestrian and sedan came to rest in the area of collision.
It was reported the pedestrian was transported in critical condition.
