BELLE GLADE — CareerSource Palm Beach County’s newly remodeled West Career Center is reopening to the public at 1085 South Main Street in Belle Glade beginning Wednesday, Dec. 9. All services will be available for clients including the use of computers and printers for job searches, individual skills assessments and assistance with reemployment services. CareerSource staff and services were moved nearby to a temporary location in Oct. while renovations took place.

CareerSource has completed renovations at the West Career Center to provide improved and expanded facilities and services to clients in the Glades communities.

During the past five program years, CareerSource Palm Beach County assisted more than 71,500 residents find employment ranging from entry level to executive suite, with salaries from these jobs creating $1.4 billion in annual wages. CareerSource also awarded $12.2 million in grants to area businesses and employees for job training and educational assistance during that time.
