BELLE GLADE — A Belle Glade man has been charged with premeditated murder in the March 15 death of a West Palm Beach man.
Antonio Ferguson, 41, of N.W. 11th St., Belle Glade, was arrested Arpil 11 by Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office detectives and charged with first degree murder, attempted first degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $100,000.
On March 15, around 2:20 a.m., PBSO deputies responded to report of a shooting in the 400 block of Lake Crystal Drive in West Palm Beach. According to the report, someone reportedly opened fire through a sliding glass door on a group of people in an apartment.
An investigation by the detectives from the PBSO Violent Crimes Division led them to secure an arrest warrant for Ferguson on April 9.
The name of the victim has been withheld due to Marsy’s Law.
