Franklin applauds House passage of FY26 NDAA

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Scott Franklin (FL-18) issued the following statement after House passage of the FY26 NDAA:

“As a career Naval Aviator who served 26 years in uniform, I know a strong America is a safe America. We don’t preserve peace by hoping for the best, but by ensuring our adversaries never doubt our resolve. The FY26 NDAA invests in the tools, training and technologies our warfighters need to remain the most capable force on Earth.”

“This bill delivers a well-deserved pay raise for our troops, strengthens support for military families and accelerates innovation so our forces stay ahead of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. It enhances readiness while revitalizing American shipbuilding and defense manufacturing to reduce dependence on foreign supply chains.”

“At the same time, we remain responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars. Defending our nation is too important for anything less than smart, strategic investment that strengthens deterrence, preserves overmatch and sustains our long-term military advantage.”

“With this NDAA, America remains the world’s premier fighting force.”
