CLEWISTON — At the regular meeting of the Hendry County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, June 9, the board approved negotiations to begin with contractor Alan Anderson Architect, P.A. for the purpose of architectural and structural engineering services for the Mental Health Addition to the Hendry County Government Complex.

Hendry County solicited qualifications from firms to provide architectural and structural engineering services, along with engineering design and permitting services for building and infrastructure improvements, for the Mental Health Addition project at the Hendry County Government Complex in Clewiston.

Submissions from several architectural firms were received in May and of these Alan Anderson Architect, P.A. demonstrated strong qualifications, project understanding, and experience with similar projects.

The board voted and unanimously approved negotiations to begin with Alan Anderson Architect, P.A.
