This years Christmas event was not “ONLY” beautiful but memorable

The Christmas Event started out with the 6th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on December 5.

At the Lighting of the Christmas Tree, the committee had lots wonderful entertainment, lots of attendees and cookies just for Santa and the community.

The 2019’ Mr/Miss Little Snowflake Competition and Court was held the candidates are as follow:

Amira Grace Gonzalez(2yrs)
Novalynn Fay Anzulda( 1.5 yrs)
Jazzlynn Herrera (1yrs)
Alayah Rose Gonzalez(1yrs)
Maliah Riveria (1yrs)
Anaya Rose Rosales (11mos)

Natalie Perez( 3yrs)
Dominic Gonzalez(5mos)
Alberto Hernandez( 9mos)
Nicholas Hernandez(8mos)
Ethan Alexander Garcia( 5mos)
Xander Paredes( 5mos)
Isaiah Hernandez(11mos)

The winners are:

Little Miss Snowflake was won by Novalynn Fay Anzualda. Second place runner up was Jazzlynn Herrera.

Little Mr. Snowflake was Dominic Gonzalez and second place runner up was Nicholas Hernandez.

The Christmas Parade and Snow Gala was a perfect moment for picture taking, one after another.

Winners of the Float Competition are as follow:

BEST-All-Around - Guadalupe Center

First Place Float winner was Seminole Tribe of Florida

Second place Float winner - The Immokalee Foundation with all 7 schools represented.

Third place Float winnerwas The Benison Center Truck Float.

This year’s event had a Recycled Christmas Tree Ornaments competition, the winners are:

First place Redland Christian Migrant Association.

Second Place was Village Oaks Elementary School

All attendees of this event had too go the Gym at Parks and Recreations to see and participate in “WHO-Ville”it was designed like the original movie.

The community needs to give the entire Christmas committee members & Parks & Recreation staff a big hand for all their hard work.
