Senator Scott visits Immokalee

The Immokalee Chamber of Commerce President Danny Gonzalez had the honor of hosting a Question & Answer Session at Lozano’s Mexican Restaurant in Immokalee with Senator Rick Scott on December 9.

Senator Scott was interested in learning about the most recent updates in the Immokalee community with the attendees from various organizations. He stated several times he was most grateful to give help with names and contact numbers to help with the groups causes.

Senator Scott gave some interesting updates on students graduating from Florida Colleges and still can’t find jobs with the career choice they pick as their majors. He stated it was up to parents, community and the schools to guide the students in middle and high school to careers they can make money after spending four years in college. He passed on some good tips for all who attended the event
