Theresa Scober, Robert’s Ranch Museum Manager was so excited to see all the activities the Club had for the kids. Lots of food (hot dogs and hamburgers), beverages, cupcakes, different assortments of candies, lots of Easter Eggs, kid games and entertainment like Musical Chairs and all the latest dance moves hosted by Juan Medina. This year’s Kiwanis Club Members worked diligently to make this an eye appealing Easter Egg Hunt for the kids of Immokalee. Three other Collier County Kiwanis Club members participated in the Egg Hunt in Immokalee. They are as follow: Kris Greenburg and Julie Suit) are from the Greater Collier Kiwanis Club. Daniel Washington(incoming Lt. Governor of Division 22), Scott and Joe Paterno (President of the Naples on the Gulf Club). Local Kiwanis members are Danny Campos (President), Sandra Jaimes, Ron Moshe, Lily Herrera and Kelly Stevenson-Crews. The local Club had help from the IHS Key Club, Project UNIFY and CKI members of FGCU (college chapter of Kiwanis Club). Theresa Schober estimated from the hours of 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. there were roughly about 600 kids with parents attending the Easter Egg Hunt!
Easter Bunny, was Hernan Garcia who was really the hit of the Day!! Hernan stated he really loves all the boys and girls who attended. (Submitted photo Fred N. Thomas, Jr)
Easter would not be complete without the Famous EASTER Bunny. Danny Campos would like to Thank all of their sponsors for a very successful event, Roberts Ranch Museum, Crop Production Services, Bruce Hendry Insurance, Fl Farm Bureau, El Taquito #1, DJ Mongi DJ Samu and Mr Juan Medina.
