OCSO's Community Action Team hosts bike safety course at local elementary school

Our Community Action Team recently spent time at one of our local elementary schools hosting a bicycle safety course, and judging by the smiles, everyone had an amazing time while learning important safety skills. Students learned bicycle safety basics, proper riding techniques, obstacle awareness, and how to safely navigate a riding course, all while having fun with our deputies and staff. As you can see, even K9 Handler Reno climbed onto his trusty red steed for the day to help demonstrate the course and keep the kids engaged. We are pretty sure he may now think he is ready for the Tour de France.
