Hendry County officials posted information on the county’s Facebook page announcing that its mosquito control contractor, Clarke, will commence ground spraying for adult mosquitoes. This truck spraying will continue weekly until further notice.
The weekly spray schedule is as follows:
Monday: Montura Ranch Estates
Tuesday: Fort Denaud Acres, North LaBelle, Pioneer Plantation, Hookers Point, and U.S. 27 County Road 720 vicinity
Wednesday: LaDeca, Flaghole, Felda, Airport-Sears area and South SR 29
Thursday: Fort Denaud Road, Phillips Road, Murray Road, Captain Hendry area, Double J Acres, Wheeler Road community, Davis-Pratt Park and South LaBelle
Residents not included in the Hendry County Mosquito Control MSBU should contact their respective municipal officials with questions or concerns regarding mosquito control activities: City of LaBelle, 863-675-2872; Port LaBelle Community Development District, 863-675-5770; Port LaBelle Unit 4, 863-675-4168; City of Clewiston, 863-983-1471.
Residents who live in these areas and/or who are charged for Hendry County Mosquito Control MSBU services on their property tax bill and have questions should call Clarke at 800-203-6485.
