Are you in need of shedding a few holiday pounds? Do you just want to tone up and get fit? Would you like to manage a healthier lifestyle? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes”, then you might be in the market for a personal trainer.

Brandon Miners was born and raised in LaBelle. During his junior and senior year of high school, Brandon found himself drawn to weightlifting. This sparked an interest in his overall health as well as his desire to help others get motivated to reach their own fitness goals.

He graduated from LaBelle High School in 2013, and then attended Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) for two years. During his time at FSW, Brandon continued to keep his commitment to a healthy lifestyle, and he soon realized his true calling was fitness and helping others.

Deciding to take the plunge, Brandon moved to Tampa where he enrolled in an 8 month personal training school called National Personal Training Institute (NPTI). He is now an NPTI Certified Personal Trainer (cert #T000332). He is also certified in Kettle Ball and TRX Suspension Training. After his certifications were complete, Brandon gained experience while working for multiple gyms and providing in-home training while in Tampa.

Brandon has since relocated back to his hometown of LaBelle. He is building his clientele by offering personal fitness training, muscle gain, weight loss through exercise and personalized diet plans, speed and agility training, powerlifting and Olympic lifts.

At Big Iron Barbell gym in LaBelle, Brandon can utilize all of their equipment to help his clients who have memberships reach their goals. If the gym is not an option, Brandon will also provide in-home training sessions or use the local parks to fulfill anyone’s fitness needs. He currently offers one-on-one training but is open to the idea of starting a boot camp program if enough interest is shown. Brandon works with older teenagers, adults and the elderly.

Ultimately, Brandon wants to help his clients feel and be their best. By committing to an active and healthy lifestyle, he hopes to help the local community become stronger and healthier. Staying fit helps to control weight, improve moods, reduce the risk of diseases as well as build strong bones and muscles. It has even been shown to increase a person’s lifespan.

For Brandon it’s all about making the commitment to personal health. Fitness is not a destination; it is a way of life. He stated that “my goal is to help everyone no matter their situation.”
