The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the Clewiston City Police Department (CPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), and the Department of Corrections (DOC), July 27 - Aug. 2

• Travis Jay Shoemaker, 41, LaBelle, was arrested July 27 by Deputy F. Brutus on charges of battery and battery by strangulation.

• Alfonso Augusto Cardenas Botero, 47, LaBelle, was arrested July 28 by HCSO Detective J. Keith on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and battery.

• Alexis Marie Perez, 24, LaBelle, was arrested July 28 by Deputy G. Hull on charges of felony failure to appear.

• Adrian Jamal Cooke, 26, Clewiston, was arrested July 29 by Deputy R. Gosa on charges of theft of motor vehicle.

• Orlande Rodriguez Mesa, 44, Clewiston, was arrested July 29 by HCSO Detective J. Keith on charges of theft of motor vehicle.

• Mercedes Barrios, 32, LaBelle, was arrested July 30 by Sgt. J. Olvera on charges of burglary with assault or battery, simply assault with intent to do violence and 3x battery.

• Stacy Lynn Castillo, 49, LaBelle, was arrested July 30 by Sgt. J. Olvera on charges of felony probation violation.

• Nolsen Miguel Duardo, 21, LaBelle, was arrested July 30 by Deputy C. Amoruso on charges of felony probation violation.

• Dagan Michael Holloway, 27, Clewiston, was arrested July 31 by Deputy R. Gosa on charges of aggravated battery causing bodily harm.

• Julie Sanchez, 57, LaBelle, was arrested July 31 by Deputy D. Blanco on charges of retail theft $750 or more.

• Nathan Jimmy Lee Shelton, 18, Clewiston, was arrested July 31 by Deputy J. Coley on charges of possession of controlled substance without prescription.

• Gerald Lee Dixon, 43, Clewiston, was arrested Aug. 1 by Deputy L. Gonzalez on charges of felony battery by person detained in detention facility.

• Jose Luis Alvaraz Chavez, 28, LaBelle, was arrested on Aug. 1 by Deputy L. Gonzalez on charges of felony battery by person detained in detention facility.

• Abraham Josafat Nunez, 21, LaBelle, was arrested Aug. 1 by Deputy A. Najjar on charges of DUI and DUI-refusal to submit to DUI testing.

• Jackie Johnson, 68, Clewiston, was arrested Aug. 1 by Deputy J. Coley on charges of aggravated battery on person 65 years of age or older.

• Christian Buck, 33, Clewiston, was arrested Aug. 2 by Deputy D. Blanco on charges of felony probation violation.
