Guadalupe Center leads all in for Early Learning Day

Posted

WHAT: Florida’s future starts long before the first day of kindergarten. Guadalupe Center will host All In for Early Learning Day, a statewide day of action highlighting why high-quality early childhood education matters for families, the workforce, and Florida’s economy. The program will include a VPK student sing-along, story time with special guest readers, recognition of Guadalupe Center’s Early Learning Dream Team, and campus tours following the event.

WHO: Guadalupe Center President and CEO Dawn Montecalvo, local and state leaders, educators, families, and community partners, including Collier County Commissioner Bill McDaniel and Early Learning Coalition leader Melanie Stefanowicz.

WHEN: Monday, January 26, 2026 | 10:00 a.m.

WHERE: Guadalupe Center – van Otterloo Campus for Learning | 3655 Westclox St,       Immokalee, Florida 34142

WHY: Guadalupe Center’s NAEYC-accredited Early Childhood Education Program serves more than 550 children annually from six weeks old through VPK. While only 43% of Florida’s children enter kindergarten school-ready, 93% of Guadalupe Center’s VPK students meet or exceed kindergarten readiness benchmarks, showing what’s possible with high-quality early learning.
