The Barron Park House Gallery and Gift Shop is pleased to recognize LaBelle’s own Carlos Inocente Gonzalez as “Artist of the Month” for September. A large collection of his works will be on display throughout the month.

Many are familiar with Carlos’s work because of his association with Gallery 101 in LaBelle and his work on the mural on the outside wall of the Caloosabelle office building. He has also painted murals in Pompano Beach and Fort Pierce. His artwork has won awards at the Barron Park House Gallery’s “Perceptions” and “Inspirations” art shows. His work has appeared in selected exhibitions in Pompano Beach, Fort Pierce, Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, as well as Petoskey, Michigan and Rochester, N.Y. In addition, his art is in public, private and corporate collections.

Carlos was born in Venezuela and studied at the Escuela de Artes Visuales in Maracay, Venezuela and was a graphic designer in Venezuela before moving to Florida.

The Barron Park House Gallery is located at 471 No. Lee St. in LaBelle. It is open Thursday thru Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
