SEBRING — The California Toe Jam Band is scheduled to perform at Highlands Hammock on March 28 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fans of this Heartland favorite are sure to have a ‘jamming good time’ at the final concert of this season’s Music in the Park series. Toe Jam is known for playing the best classic rock of the 1960s and 70s. The band features founding member Harry Havery on guitar and vocals, T.J. Kinyon on bass and vocals, Jordan Terrell on keys, guitar and vocals and Sawyer Humphrey on drums. Although over 40 years have gone by since Toe Jam was formed in 1984, the music remains the same and the band enjoys a legion of followers. Park Services Specialist Carla Sherwin stated, “Listening to California Toe Jam at local venues must evoke strong feelings of nostalgia in those who grew up with the band.” “Playing in the park allows the band to connect with the audience and folks can get up and dance as well as sit back and relax,” she continued. As Toe Jam draws a large audience, some concertgoers may wish to arrive early, beat the rush and stake out a special spot in the Music in the Park circle. Music in the Park concerts are sponsored by the Friends of Highlands Hammock State Park. Proceeds benefit park improvements. The 2026-2027 concert series will resume in November.

Concert admission is $15 per adult. Accompanied children 12 and under are free of charge. Tickets are sold at the picnic area entrance after parking is completed in designated areas. Dropping off attendees at the picnic gate is not permitted. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and flashlights and enjoy an evening of music under the stars. Pets are not permitted, so please, no dogs!
