CLEWISTON — On Friday, Aug. 21, Miss Lopez’s class at Central Elementary School was buzzing with excitement. For the first two weeks of thirds grade they explored how bees impact our environment, what’s inside a beehive, and how bee colonies work together. To celebrate all of their hard work on Friday, they put their learning into action by creating their own beehives out of paper mâché!
