“It’s easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” – Frederick Douglas

The Principals’ Role Model mentoring group’s mission is to build communities of positive male role models, through consistent group mentoring, encouragement, and empowerment of teenage boys to follow their dreams.

This outstanding male mentoring group at Crossroads Academy is directed and sponsored by the Honorable Mayor Steve Wilson. The group provides a guide for teenage boys on their journey to manhood, through mentoring.

The Principals’ Role Model Mentoring group gives male students opportunities to make conscious choices and decisions about what kind of men they would like to become. It also offers them hope, support and guidance on their pathway to manhood and a successful future. Supporting and mentoring Crossroads Academy male youth is critical, during their teenage years as they transition from boys to men.
