Attention all concerned boaters! Route 2, along the Okeechobee Water Way will experience extended temporary closures from July 27 through Aug. 7, for the installation of a submerged pipeline. There will be identification buoys and a spotter boat (21’ center console) in the area monitoring VHF Channel 16. These operations will be conducted from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Boaters should expect delays when transiting the area. Please exercise caution!
